I’m halfway through season 1 and I already love it, but I notice that the fan base is usually all for it or very against it, but I’m not sure why.

Well season 2 has guns and plot is just kinda slow, and alicization just got rid of pretty much every character other than Kirito and asuna, it’s also confusing
Sounds like an opinion, not a reason.
Oh no no not a reason Jst a option..... 😂
Well everything is opinion then for example naruto is the worst anime to ever exist, one piece sucks, konosuba is boring, see what I mean if you say an anime is good or bad and then I say why what you say is just an opinion
It's funny because most people don't like the Fairy Dance part (Alfheim Online), but apparently some people don't like the GGO part (guns) either.
As for Alicization missing most of the characters, they make appearances, but it is similar to GGO where the arc was basically only Kirito and Sinon. Also, Alicization doesn't even really have much Asuna in the first part (mostly just Kirito, Eugeo, and Alice)... I guess SAO is not allowed to do new world building.
Well people also wouldn’t like it if in a big anime series like say boruto, I’m just a few arks they got rid of some of the main characters
dunno but Akame ga kill got rid of all main characters and it's still good.
An opinion is an opinion until it has a reasoning after which it turns into a argument.
As for example low end animation, which is a common thing for a lot of todays anime, which is sad as we live in the year 2019 and are approaching 2020 and the animation of akira 30 years ago is still better than so many animes of these days.
Ya I would actually like to see more of Kirito and Asuna. I actually liked the Alfheim online arc with Asuna being trapped by the creepy dude, but so far I’m not into season 2
Everyone always brings up Akira and talks about how old anime was so good... that's BS. Akira was so much better than most anime of its era and by far the exception and not the rule. I was around then and Akira made such an impression because it was so much better. That said, anime films generally had far better quality than series mostly because of the difference between theater quality and crappy SD TV quality.
There are plenty of amazing quality anime series of recent vintage, it's just that there are so many more releases, the average ones crowd out the good ones for many people.
Right now I'm watching Hozuki's Coolheadedness and the animation quality is amazing!
@Necor you made me go off topic.
Well you called me evil in the past :D
Usually just mention akira cuz it's the fiest old work I remember if I think about old works...
Which are rather hard to remember for me...
What do you think?
