I want to get my friend into anime, and he's already tried My Hero Academia, One Punch Man, Bleach, dragon ball, and a few others, and liked none of them.
Good friend, good friend!!
Should probably check out Akame Ga Kill.
Or maybe just ask him as for why he disliked them and look for smth that, either doeant include any of those, or oposes all of those.
He probably thinks it’s “lame” or something. He’ll probably never like it tbh
If it starts getting popular amongst people he might reconsider watching it ...
Maybe try getting him to watch more stuff like thriller, horror, dark fantasy, psychological or pure action type anime. My friend said the same at first but he ended up enjoying anime with a more serious or darker side to them so maybe try:
The promised neverland
Parasyte the maxim
Seraph of The End
Made in Abyss
Sirius the jaeger
B the beginning
Or akame ga kill that has already been mentioned
Try with Marvel Comics #1, U.S.A. Comics #1-#4, Mystic Comics #5-#9, Daring Mystery Comics #1-#8
And he could also read All-American Comics #16 and Green Lantern Vol 1 (1941) #1-#38, Sensation Comics #1, All-Star Comics #1-#49
(Just kidding guys lol)
I agree with Fra, maybe he should start with Man-thing.
No, no, no... Plastic Man rules all! But only bcuz Matter-Eater Lad doesn’t have his own series.
Back on topic... good starter anime:
+ Little Witch Academia
+ Mob Psycho 100
+ Tengen Toppa Gurenn Lagann
+ Kill la Kill
+ Usagi Drop
+ Your Lie in April
Tell him to watch SAO if he doesn’t like that there is no hope . I would say SAO because it suits everyone of all genres or tastes in anime, my opinion btw
SAO isn’t good as BL, reverse harem, horror, high school, yuri, and a few other genres... and lots of anime fans hate it (usually not for good reasons, tho).
How about Cowboy Beepbop
What do you think?
