Guys don’t kill me but Dragon ball Z or Super
Naruto, Bleach, Tokyo, SAO
@Susanpoppin Super, yeah, fair enough, the fights were probably the best part of that show but Dragon ball and Dragon ball Z started in 1986 and it’s what started the shounen cliches. They were also released as the same manga. It may be cliche but I still love it. I actually just bought the Dragon ball and DBZ manga boxset a few hours ago though 😂. They were super cheap on amazon, only like 65 and 96 pounds or something. Anyway I’m probably bias but still. It’s cliche but it’s the original cliche.
Yeah but the only dragon ball series I like is the original one I enjoy it so much and oolong was my favorite
Oolong is the main man.
For me it’s Fairy Tail as it’s always friendship this friendship that and saying that friends make you stronger when it’s just the protagonist getting mad like hulk that makes him stronger
Technically Naruto creates the cliche. But BNHA gets way to much hype tbh. Season one and two were fire but season three and four were lowkey not it(they weren’t bad, the story just fell off a little). Although, I will say this. Breaking away from Midoriya and giving each character development while still keeping Midoriya the MC is pretty fresh. I personally have not seen an anime that does this, and I loved the concept.
Boku no hero
I thought that demon slayer was more unique as the series tries to get you to sympathize with the villains
@Geekdummy yeah but at the same time it just follows the standard monster of the week type of show. It doesn’t do it at the end as much but it still is pretty standard as far as shounen goes.
What do you think?
