Man, dub really is that hated, huh? I feel like sometimes the anime community can be really dismissive of all the legitimate valid reasons for people to like dub over sub (that might just be me overreacting though, I’m only speaking from what I’ve observed)
Well I prefer dubbed just bc I can watch it without having to always look at the screen; it lets me do other things without losing track of what’s going on in the show.
Its usually the sub thats better cuz japan has institutions as well as official systems that raise up the voicers unlike most other countries. Usually, u must have popularity or some kind of background in voicing before u can take part in major works
I used to use sub, but after a little break I took from anime, I couldn't and still can't stand hear something that I don't understand, maybe it'll change...
