There are hardcore TRUE believes on one side or the other, of course; however, I tend to believe that most everyday fans of both (if not all) prefer the manga or book of their favorite Title to the anime.
That being said, part of the 1800 books in my personal library are composed of different Manga. For the purpose of this post, especially My Hero Academia. Now I DO enjoy the anime, but this season and the final battle against All for one reminds me of why I cannot watch anime from the past 10-15 years for extended periods…
The massive expo dumps prior to and during the battles. Typically, like AOT and earlier anime, this style of story telling builds tension and anticipation just as the books do, but this final battle sequence has become as pointless and irritating as sandpaper underwear to me.
It feels like it was shoe-horned in during post b/c some exec wanted it there (that’s my feeling, leastways). To be honest, after this most recent episode, I’ve completely lost interest. Granted, those who’ve read the manga already know the outcome, but it’s exciting to see your favorite writers vision brought to life.
I’ll just wait and watch the final episode, I think. Then I’m taking a break from anything made after 2008 for while
Preferably action/adventure. I know I need to watch Dr Stone, but that's all I haven't watched that I really know about. Please send recommendations 🙏🏻

Something that's very deep (just broke up with my gf)
This is probably not a bad use for AI, but it will definitely put pressure on already low paid anime illustrators, especially at the bottom end of the scale.

It's kind of BS, but makes some decent points. The game industry is very different. From what I can tell, the number of high quality anime coming out from a significantly smaller industry far outstrips the quality and number of good games, so the anime industry just has to not follow the game industry example.
My FAV Anime:

Demon Slayer
Oshi No Ko
Chainsaw Men
Assassination Classroom
Hell's Paradise
