Black Clover

The majority of people hating on Black Clover always call it a Naruto clone but some of the things they say Black Clover copies are just common shounen troupes that Black Clover is just more vocal about but in a good way and some of those troupes are also done differently in both series. Maybe it really is copying it and I'm just in denial so hit me with your best shot.Yes, tons of show use the same basic tropes but there are undeniable strong ties between them however in my opinion everything in black clover is done better.

To start you have proper rivals who grow organically rather then the naruto sasuke forced relationship, which brings me to the next point. Yuno is a way better character then sasuke, he feels like a real person who has character development rather then a brooding moron. Not to mention magic works way better then ninjustsu, because in naruto you expect ninjas and get mages who sometimes have knives. Here there is no facade and magic is just magic.

Not only does the magic make more sense but the variety used by characters is better, they grow and learn new techniques rather then using the same 3 for 200 episodes. Asta in particular shows that he is training and growing becoming better at both planning and basic fighting, whereas the naruto formula was just drown in clones then rasengan.

To top it all off imo the fights are better choreographed and the music is more epic. Yeah I love black catcher song in black clover but I also love Naruto song too (actually I really like them)
