Actually I just remembered an even worse anime. I forgot about it because I barricaded the memories out. Watamote, a cringy black comedy series following a girl who is a otaku but tries to become popular in very cringy ways. The humor is just pure cringe. They even say in the beginning that the story doesn’t matter and it’s not hard to see why

Swim Swim is a psychopath who is more interested in killing magical girls than anything else. She wouldn’t even need a reason. Mami would only hunt down a person if she had a reason too and she’d be easier to escape from
I’m someone who has seen and analysed it though to be honest there are many Isekai way better than it if you ask me
Not really in Another World With My Smartphone has a bland main protagonist who uses a smartphone to solve his problems but he’s also really overpowered, has photographic memory and literally ends up marrying every female character who joins up with him. Also he travelled to that world via reincarnation after God killed him by accident rather than being magically transported and he’s okay with leaving his old life behind. Also the animation is better (not a easy hurdle to clear in this case) and the world building is better. Also unlike Master of Ragnarok’s protagonist who constantly puts himself down when he does something, Smartphone’s protagonist humbly accepts credit and is aware of his capabilities. I can understand confusing Master of Ragnarok and In Another World With My Smartphone as both are regarded as trash Isekai anime with similar premises but Smartphone is the better one of the two

@Anayan K yeah but the problem is there was already another Isekai anime which had a character that does that it was better even though the main protagonist was bland and overpowered.
Master of Ragnarok and Blesser of Einherjar: literally the main protagonist rips another Isekai protagonist as he uses a smartphone to solve his problems, he is surrounded by a bunch of attractive girls of various ages when he already has a girlfriend that he keeps in touch with so all these BA ladies are just getting led on by him, he constantly puts himself down every time he accomplishes something thinking he cheated because he looked up a strategy and then successfully implemented it not realising he was his own smarts that enabled him to successfully use that idea, the animation at times looks sloppy with the characters at times in awkward positions during action scenes and lastly the final episode appears to have a buildup to a final battle that we don’t even get to see. I don’t know how I endured all 12 episodes of it but I did. Honestly the worst anime I’ve ever seen.

Well anyway I was able endure what I’m sure is the entire series (I highly doubt there will be a second season even the ending set it up for one) and prior to seeing it I really wanted to like it because of the hype. Then when I did see it eroded faster than a sandcastle in a rainstorm. I don’t even know what to make of it anymore. If I could rate it would NEGATIVE 2 billion stars out of five aka so bad it’s insurmountably low

To be honest I don’t meant to tarnish the names of good anime or anime inspired series I’m just saying that it looks like HGS stole ideas and concepts from them and made into an unworkable mess when they could have made it work
It’s not even an anime so I can’t even call it a bad anime series. It’s just bad…like somebody thought kit-bashing together Little Witch Acadmia, Didn’t I Say to Make my Abilities Average in My Next Life, RWBY, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, and Sailor Moon was even remotely a good idea and it just ended up a total mess. I can even compliment the voice acting because two of the VAs are either trying too hard to sound socially awkward or they are not trying at all.
I would’ve chosen Rina Toin from Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch if she was one this
