I mean, I've seen much better, but it was definitely something I enjoyed quite a bit.
Haven't caught up to the current spisode though, I put it on hold after the 126th episode.
The 4th one is one of the 2 nun sisters from Haganai: I don't have many friends. Gonna leave the others to others.
These are some that I found, that you may like. 2 of them are a little above 50 chapters but they can be called "angsty", as you want:
- Aku no Hana (58 chapters)
- A Lollipop or a Bullet (13 chapters)
- Killing Stalking (67 chapters)
- Variante (19 chapters)
- Solanin (28 chapters)
Though in the end, I haven't read enough manga to actually give recommendations, so I suggest you take these lightly and check the other recommendations that people drop here.
@Fandyllic you're wrong (of course), Fireworks isn't done by Makoto Shinkai, it's actually a work of Akiyuki Shinbou.
Well yeah, it only depends on what the studio wants, but at least it isn't as annoying now. There will still be plenty of fanservice I'm sure... but at least it won't be interfering with the actual romance scenes, if you get me.
Maybe, most people watching TQQ didn't really mind it but to me it was one of its major downfalls.
Coz emm, unpopular opinion but I kinda didn't like how they focused on that part in the first season. It was somewhat annoying...
Like the old style too, but I kinda like how they toned down the....... assets.

Agreed, one reason I really like TONIKAWA is coz it just skips the whole "chase" part, which is one wall that many romance anime fail to climb, there's always the doubt in whether the ship will sail or not, and by the time the 1-cour anime ends, we're left with them (hopefully) holding hands ("go read the damn manga" ending).
Oh, I didn't know we were judging by roblox's stats.π¦π¦

(Yeah sorry, that Yesterday wo Utatte was just me trying to get some false hope).
Hard choice... I'll go with Uraraka.
Crunchyroll f*cked up.
Nice bait though, this poll.
@Aang.Katara.Zuko @JojoxAdventure An advice: stop projecting real-life values on a work of fiction. You missed the whole point of stories the moment you started questioning it with ethics and whatnot instead of enjoying it for what it is. The thing that you even questioned here is a common trope that is widespread in Japanese fiction.
Learning to differentiate between what's real and what's not, and that people are free to like whatever will probably make your life much easier.
