Wanting to settle the score, Ikki gets his chance after stumbling upon a pair of A.Ts, and learning that his adoptive family used to be one of the most infamous A-T gangs called 'Sleeping Forest'. Ikki eventually settles things but ends up with a lot more than the satisfaction he wanted. Air Gear (エア・ギア, Ea Gia) is a Japanese manga by the mangaka Ito "Oh Great" Ōgure. It was serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine where it won the 2006 Kodansha Manga Award in the shōnen category. All the individual chapters were compiled into 37 volumes. An anime adaptation by Toei Animation was aired for April 4 to September 26, 2006, followed by a 3-episode OAD.
