Amazon Prime Video is a video streaming service launched in 2006 and part of Amazon's Prime subscription service (primarily based on Amazon's e-commerce service and free delivery). They have occasional anime exclusives around 2+ per season if you combine anime series and films. There weren't really any exclusive series between 2012 (Persona 4 The Animation in Winter 2012) and around 2015. For the Summer 2017 season, many exclusives (over half a dozen) were released, but this was a one time event so far.
