Animal Crossing (どうぶつの森, Dōbutsu no Mori, lit. Animal Forest) is a community simulation video game series developed and published by Nintendo.
Dōbutsu no Mori (劇場版 どうぶつの森, Gekijōban Dōbutsu no Mori) is a 2006 Japanese movie based on the Animal Crossing series. It was produced by OLM, Inc. and distributed by Toho in association with Nintendo. It wasn't released outside Japan, and Nintendo of America has no plans for an English release.
In all of the Animal Crossing games, the player assumes the role of a human character, who moves into a rural village populated with anthropomorphic animals and lives there indefinitely.
Dōbutsu no Mori
Ai is a self-reliant girl that moves to Animal Village. She makes friends with the various villagers as she settles into the village. One night as she walked along the beach, she finds a message in the bottle. It sets her off on a quest of planting pine trees around the village to fulfill a miracle on the eve of the Winter Festival.
