Azure Striker Gunvolt (蒼き雷霆 ガンヴォルト, Armed Blue Gunvolt) is a Japanese 2D side-scrolling action-platform game developed and published by Inti Creates for the Nintendo 3DS eShop released in August 2014. In addition to utilizing gameplay similar to the Mega Man games, new elements are introduced such as Gunvolt's ability to "tag" enemies and target many at once, adding an additional layer of complexity to the genre.
A promotional OVA produced by LandQ studios was released on February 9, 2017.
Plot[]
In the near future, there are people with special powers called Sevens. It seems like the country has maintained peace by a company called Sumeragi Group, while society are unaware that they kidnap Sevens by force to for inhumane experimentation. Our hero is a Sevens named who is a member of Feathers, the resistant against the Sumeragi Group, and his story envelops after encountering the heroine, Joule.
