Plot[edit | edit source]

The story takes place in a world of civilized anthropomorphic animals with a cultural division between carnivores and herbivores. The series takes its name from the range in the universe of Beastar, an individual of great talent, service and notoriety.

Legosi, a great gray wolf, is a shy and quiet student at Cherryton School, where he lives in a dormitory with other carnivorous students, including his outgoing friend Labrador, Jack. As a member of the school theater club, Legosi works as a stagehand and supports the actors of the club headed by the star student Louis, a deer. Out of nowhere, Tem, the alpaca, is brutally murdered and devoured at night, creating a wave of restlessness and distrust between herbivores and carnivorous students. At the same time, Legosi has a fateful encounter with Haru, a small dwarf rabbit, and begins to develop complex feelings towards her.
