Cagaster of an Insect Cage (虫籠のカガステル, Mushikago no Cagaster) is a Japanese adult manga series by Kachō Hashimoto (using the pen name "Hashimoto Chicken") that was released as a web dōjinshi on her website from 2005 to 2013 and published by Tokuma Shoten as 7 tankōbon volumes under its Comic Ryu imprint starting on January 13, 2016 with the last volume releasing June 13, 2016. It was adapted by gonzo for Netflix as an animated web television series and released 12 episodes on February 6, 2020.
Plot
Set in a post-apocalyptic world where a mysterious disease “Cagaster” turns people into giant murderous insects, a young couple struggles to stay alive.
