The unfortunate aspect of this genre is that can be somewhat vague and applicable to almost any work that doesn't focus specifically on non-serious subjects, such that hybrid genre names like dramedy and drama with modifiers like "courtroom drama", "family drama", "psychological drama", etc. often need to be used.
