Princess Nine, or Princess Nine: Kisaragi Girls High Baseball Club (プリンセスナイン如月女子高野球部, Purinsesu Nain Kisaragi Joshikō Yakyū-bu), is a Japanese sports anime produced by Phoenix Entertainment in Japan, which broadcasted on NHK from April 8 to October 14, 1998 for 26 episodes. Initially released by ADV Films in North America, six volumes were released on VHS and DVD while the series is licensed by Lucky Penny.
Plot[]
Keiko Himuro, Chairman of the Kisuragi School, puts together an all-girl baseball team led by Ryo Hayakawa, daughter of a legendary pitcher, in hopes of proving that girls can compete just as well as boys. Their goal: Koshien Stadium, where only the best teams get the opportunity to play.
