Grand Blue (ぐらんぶる, Guran Buru) is a manga series written by Inoue Kenji and illustrated by Yoshioka Kimitake. It was first serialized in the good! Afternoon magazine starting in the May 2014 issue. The manga is published digitally in English by Kodansha Comics USA under the name of Grand Blue Dreaming. An anime adaptation by Zero-G premiered on July 14, 2018 and ran for 12 episodes to September 29, 2018.[1] A second season of the anime premiered on July 7, 2025 and is expected to run 12 episodes. A leak suggests a third season has already been greenlit.
Plot[]
A new life begins for Kitahara Iori as he begins his college career near the ocean in Izu city, full of excitement for his new life. He will be moving into his Uncle's diving store "Grand Blue." There he finds the beautiful ocean, beautiful women, and men that love diving and alcohol. Will Iori be able to live his dream college life?
