Haikyuu!! is a Japanese manga about volleyball serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump. Started on February 2012, Haikyuu!! tells the story of Shouyou Hiniata, a high school volleyball club member, trying to become the next "Small Giant".
Currently, an anime adaptation, 3DS games, and spinoff manga has been made for the manga; a second season of the anime series and a stage play are set to premiere in the Fall of 2015.
Plot
Shouyou Hinata, upon seeing a volleyball match, is aiming to become the next "Small Giant", and joins his middle school volleyball club. After finding new members, they set out for the middle school tournament, where they've cross paths with a formidable school with the "King of the Upper Court", Tobio Kageyama. Although their team lost, Shouyou is still determined to aim for the top and exact revenge on Kageyama. Upon entering high school, he receives the biggest surprise--he and Kageyama are on the same high school volleyball club!
