Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi (かくりよの宿飯, lit. "Afterlife Inn Cooking") is a Japanese light novel series written by Midori Yūma and illustrated by Laruha. Fujimi Shobo has published six volumes since 2015 under their Fujimi L Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation with art by Wako Ioka has been serialized in Enterbrain's josei manga magazine B's Log Comic since 2016. It has been collected in three tankōbon volumes. An anime television series adaptation by Gonzo is scheduled to air from April 2, 2018. Viz Media has licensed Manga for release in English as Kakuriyo: Bed and Breakfast for Spirits.
Plot
Female college student, Aoi Tsubaki, inherited her deceased grandfather's ability to see ayakashi. One day, while Aoi is feeding some ayakashi, a demon appears! He declares that Aoi's grandfather owed a great debt, and as compensation, Aoi must marry the demon! Aoi refuses and decides to pay off the debt by working.
