Manga Entertainment is an anime and Asian cinema licensing company owned by Starz. They are known for being among the first companies (along with Central Park Media) to release adult-oriented anime in Western countries with little censorship. In the United Kingdom, their subsidiary "Manga UK" were responsible for introducing anime to British audiences and have agreements with other licensing companies. For example, Madman Entertainment distribute Manga Entertainment's dubs in Australia and New Zealand and many titles from American based company Funimation are released in the UK via Manga UK.
Manga Entertainment has also co-produced many notable anime with Japanese creators such as Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex & its spin-offs, Strait Jacket, Street Fighter Alpha: Generations and Tokko.
