Hello, some redirects are common misspellings and can be used as hints to point editors to the correct page e.g. Knight's & Magic, since it's easier to type "and" than SHIFT+7. Alternate names are useful for searching as many people may type the Romaji title in the search bar for an anime even if the English title is used on the page and no links use the Romaji title.
Other redirects are not used here but on other Wikis linking back to animanga.fandom.com. Kylee Saunders is officially credited on her song "Everlasting" as just "Kylee", her first name, so on w:c:gundam:Everlasting we do the same.
Most redirects and even pages aren't used in a articles here. It's about being able to search for them even if they in English or Romaji with or with out Diacritic marks or even Kanji. They also keep people from making duplicate articles.
On WoWWiki, if there was a frequent link that was misspelled, I would add the redirect to a Misspelling category, so I would know why it exists. Other than that, removing redirects that are there for legitimate alternate spelling sounds like an OCD problem.
If he ignores that or turns it down, i will make a community thread. I felt i'd bring it to his attention once more out of good faith. For the most part, i've contacted our user base and linked them that thread.
How so? Manga = Japan, Manhua = China and Manhwa = Korea.
Now, i could just remove the Manhua and Manhwa options altogether and label them as Manga or Anime. But, i think that that'll be more misleading. We have articles for Manhua and Manhwa here so it shouldn't cause too much trouble for those that don't know what they are.
