Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation (無職転生～異世界行ったら本気だす～, Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu) is a light novel series written by Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Sirotaka. Originally published on the internet web novel website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in November 2012, a year later, it was announced the series would receive a print release under Media Factory's MF Books imprint. Sirotaka was previously known for Pixiv illustrations.

The novel series was adapted into a manga series by Fujikawa Yuka and published by Comic Flapper. It has been published in English as Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation by Seven Seas Entertainment since November 24, 2015.

An anime television series adaptation by Studio Bind premiered on January 11, 2021 and ran for 11 episodes to March 22, 2021. A second part (sometimes called 2nd season or cour 2) also by Studio Bind was announced to premiere October 3, 2021.

Plot[]

Killed while saving a stranger from a traffic collision, a 34-year-old NEET is reincarnated into a world of magic as Rudeus Greyrat, a newborn baby. With knowledge, experience, and regrets from his previous life retained, Rudeus vows to lead a fulfilling life and not repeat his past mistakes.

Now gifted with a tremendous amount of magical power as well as the mind of a grown adult, Rudeus is seen as a genius in the making by his new parents. Soon, he finds himself studying under powerful warriors, such as his swordsman father and a mage named Roxy Migurdia—all in order to hone his apparent talents.
