Stub Music Girls is a Japanese anime series produced by Studio Deen about a fictional idol unit. It spawned from a short film that was produced by Studio Deen for Young Animator Training Project's Anime Mirai 2015. The anime television series started airing on July 6, 2018. An initial single titled ON STAGE LIFE was released on June 6, 2018, under the fictional idol group's name performed by the seiyū of the corresponding characters in the anime. More singles and character songs were released from July to September of 2018. ==Plot== There are eleven girls who make up the C-class Ongaku Shōjo idol unit under Pine Records. Despite generating red sales marks and not being very popular, Producer Ikebashi and the members are trying their very best to up their levels. Nevertheless, Ikebashi suggests recruiting a new member for Ongaku Shōjo; someone who can act as a catalyst for the success of the group. Thus, an audition was opened, leading to the soon-to-be legendary group's meeting to a girl named Hanako Yamadaki. ==External Links== ===Official=== * Official anime website ===Other info=== * ===Other wikis===
