Nagaru Tanigawa

Nagaru Tanigawa (谷川 流 Tanigawa Nagaru) is a Japanese author from Hyōgo Prefecture, in the Kinki region of Japan. A graduate of the law school at Kwansei Gakuin University, he is recognized for this work on The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya which won the grand prize at eighth annual Sneaker Awards and later adapted into an anime series. While Tanigawa was on hiatus writing his light novel series, he started working on another manga series titled Amnesia Labyrinth, serialized in Dengeki Bunko Magazine. The first volume of Amnesia Labyrinth was released in Japan in August 2009, and in North America in February 2011.
