Noboru Ishiguro (石黒 昇, Ishiguro Noboru) was a Japanese director, and is one of Japan's most notable names in anime. He is known for working on sci-fi anime, most famously Macross, Space Battleship Yamato and the critically acclaimed longest-running OVA to date – Legend of the Galactic Heroes.
