Subaru and Subaru (スバルとスバル, Subaru to Subaru) is a manga series written and illustrated by Shuichi Shigeno. It is debuted in the 34th issue of Weekly Young Magazine on July 22, 2025. The series marks Shigeno's return to the street racing genre after the conclusion of MF Ghost and is considered a continuation of his automotive universe.
Plot[]
The story follows two racers, a boy and a girl, both named Subaru (with different kanji), each inheriting the "fastest on the road" spirit of Gunma and Kanagawa. The boy Subaru (Kudō) crosses paths with Ogata and Aiba, while the girl Subaru (Satō) meets Bunta, and a new legend is born!
