Tokyo Movie Shinsha (東京ムービー新社, Tōkyō Mūbī Shinsha; Officially abbreviated as TMS) is a Japanese animation studio. Notable works include adaptations of famous manga including Monkey Punch's Lupin III, Gosho Aoyama's Detective Conan & Magic Kaito (the aforementioned three have had crossovers), Mitsuteru Yokoyama's Tetsujin 28-go & Mars, the critically acclaimed 1988 adapation of Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira and the 1973 adapation of Fujiko Fujio's Doraemon. TMS are currently owned by Sega under the brand name TMS Entertainment. Previously, they had animated Sonic X from Sega's signature franchise. TMS have also collaborated with western companies; they animated the entirety of The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers and The Mighty Orbots as well as The Transformers episode, Call of the Primitives, which is regarded as one of the best animated episodes of the original series.

Along with Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan, TMS is one of the co-founding and shareholding studios for the TV network Animax along with co-founders and shareholders including and the noted animation studios Sunrise, Toei Animation, and NAS.
