Technoroid (テクノロイド, Tekunoroido) is a Japanese mixed-media project created by Noriyasu Agematsu, RUCCA, CyberAgent, Avex Pictures, and Elements Garden. A mobile game developed by WonderPlanet titled Technoroid Unison Heart (テクノロイド ユニゾンハート, Tekunoroido Yunizon Hāto) was released on January 21, 2022 for Android and iOS, and an anime television series by Doga Kobo titled Technoroid Overmind (テクノロイド オーバーマインド, Tekunoroido Ōbāmaindo) was scheduled to premiere in summer 2022, but will probably be released later due to a delay caused a COVID-19 outbreak at the animation studio.
Plot[]
Technoroid: Overmind is set in the Entertainment Tower Babel, a new hope found by those who have lost the joy of light as humanity's activities are restricted due to the large-scale climate change caused by the expanded sun. The anime depicts unique units and characters fighting for the top of Babel, pursuing emotions that move people and androids through performances.
