Plot

Daigaku Ichinensei (大学一年生 / 1年生 / 大1 1st year High school student?) Hodaka Morishima lives in a remote isolated island located in Japan. Hating the lifestyle in remote area,he shifts to Tokyo living as his life as a NEET against the high living cost in Tokyo. This causes him to fall in despair & live in hikikomori (ひきこもり or 引きこもり lit. "pulling inward, being confined" colloquially/adaptive translation: shut-inner?) condition. After that, he takes a job as a writer in a shady Monthly Paranormal Occult Journal.

After becoming a journalist,he was sent in a task to investigate the irregular weather in Japan. One day in a corner of the crowded and busy Tokyo metropolitan, Hodaka meets a young bright & strong-willed girl named Hina Amano, who can manipulate the weather through her prayer. Due to certain circumstances, she lives a cheerful & sturdy life with her little brother.

Hodaka Morishima explores the undiscovered truth of the world with her. But due to changes of events,circumstances disconnect them far apart. The male & female protagonist risk their lives to meet each other again.
