Gokushufudō: The Way of the Househusband (極主夫道, Gokushufudō; lit. "Extreme Househusband Road") is a manga series written and illustrated by Kousuke Ōno. A 10-episode live-action TV drama aired on NTV and YTV from October 11, 2020 to December 13, 2020. A spinoff shorts mini-series 3rd-year Dragon-class Househusband Teacher (3年辰組 極主夫先生, 3-Nen tatsu-gumi kyoku shufu sensei) was released on Hulu from November 8, 2020 to Dececember 13, 2020. A set of two 5-episode Netflix shorts ONA series by J.C.Staff aired on April 8, 2021 and October 7, 2021. A 10-episode live-action semi-reality shorts TV show The Ingenuity of the House Husband (極工夫道, Goku Kufū-dō; lit. "Extreme Househusband Way") was released on Netflix on Aug 29, 2021. A live-action special episode “The Way of the Househusband” Burst Into Laughter! Click SP (「極主夫道」爆笑！カチコミSP, 「Goku Shufu-dō」 Bakushō! Kachikomi SP) aired on NTV on May 27, 2022. A live-action movie was release on Jun 3, 2022.
Plot[]
