Tokyo Ghoul (トーキョーグール Tōkyō Gūru) is a horror manga series written and illustrated by Sui Ishida. It is published by Shueisha and collected into 13 tankōbon volumes as of June 2014. It is serialized in the Weekly Young Jump since September 2011. An anime adaptation produced by studio Pierrot premiered on Tokyo MX on July 3, 2014. Funimation licensed the anime for streaming and home video distribution in North America on June 6, 2014.

Plot
