Tsurune -Kazemai High School's Kyūdō Club- (ツルネ -風舞高校弓道部-, Tsurune: Kazemai Kōkō Kyūdō-bu; lit. "Tsurune: Kazemai High School's Kyūdō Club") is a Japanese light novel series by Kotoko Ayano and illustrated by Chinatsu Morimoto, published by Kyoto Animation under their KA Esuma Bunko label. An anime adaptation by Kyoto Animation premiered on October 22, 2018 and ran for 13 episodes to January 21, 2019. An anime film Tsurune -Beginning Shot- (劇場版ツルネ －はじまりの一射－, Gekijō-ban Tsurune -Hajimari no Hitosa-) premiered August 19, 2022.
Plot[]
Tsurune revolves around Minato Narumiya, a first-year student at Kazemai High School who initially refuses to join his school's archery club because of an incident in middle school, but decides to join it after an encounter with a mysterious man who was shooting arrows in a forest.
