Yū Yamamoto (山本 優, Yamamoto Yū) is a famous Japanese scriptwriter. He started work at Mushi Production, animating episode 4 and 5 of Moomin and later wrote the original Mobile Suit Gundam and went on to become the creator of the J9 Series at Kokusai Eigasha. He recently announced a new J9 Series, Galaxy Divine Wind Jinraiger, scheduled for 2016.
