Ya Boy Kongming! (パリピ孔明, Paripi Kōmei; lit. "Kongming of the Party People") is a Japanese manga series written by Yuto Yotsuba and illustrated by Ryō Ogawa. The series was serialized in Kodansha's Comic Days website from December 2019 to November 2021 and later in Weekly Young Magazine. An anime television series adaptation by P.A. Works was streamed from March to June 2022 and aired on television from April to June of the same year.
Plot[]
Once in China, the famous military strategist Zhuge Liang Kongming met his demise in the Battle of Wuzhang Plains. As he lies on his deathbed, he wishes that his next life were in a peaceful place, free from bloodshed. Kongming's wish is granted upon the stars where he is reborn in his youthful self in present-day modern Japan. He wanders around his new world in Shibuya night, where he meets an aspiring singer named Eiko Tsukimi, thus beginning his second life of conquering through the power of music.
