Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches (山田くんと7人の魔女, Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo) is a manga series created by Miki Yoshikawa (吉河美希, Yoshikawa Miki) and published in the Weekly Shōnen Magazine. It ran from February 22, 2012 to February 22, 2017, and is complete in 28 volumes.
It was adapted into an anime by Liden Films studio starting in April 2015, with twelve episodes total.
Plot[]
Ryu Yamada is a second year student at Suzaku High. Ryu is always late for school, naps in class and gets abysmal grades. His life is a dead bore. The beautiful Urara Shiraishi, on the other hand, is Suzaku High's brightest student. One day, after an unprecedented incident, their bodies were swapped! with Ryu ends up in Urara's body, and Urara in Ryu's.
From that incident, Ryu and Urara start their previously boring high school life with new adventures filled with miraculous events. They would meet new friends, enemies and annoying bystanders. Also as they find out about the power behind their "body-swapping"; it is up to Ryu, Urara and the members of the Supernatural Studies Club to uncover the secret within the mystery of Suzaku High's "Seven Witches" whom posses seven different powers.
